Legend has it too that he lived above the KFC shop on Acton High St. in the early/mid 70's,before fame arrived at his door.

One of the Strangjers used to live in the flats on Edensor.. His son was my son in laws best friend many years ago. Can’t remember his name now.

His son’s called Jeremy Hartington Court is at the west end of Hartington Road

I’m thinking of Paul Roberts, lead singer. He definitely lived in the flats in Edensor Gardens. It’s likely they knew each other because they were Chiswick boys.
