They often tell poorer people to do all of those things, and might eat a cheaper biscuit, with the sparkling, while in their 2nd home wearing an extra jumper as the wood burner needs some more logs from a local who can’t afford to actually live there anymore.

Reality is an illusion created by a lack of alcohol.Seeing all the empty booze cans littered around the Borough, and scuffy clothing,I'd say most will carry on as before, party like Boris, and make no choice.

A lot of the choices in my thread on being a greener consumer also fit in here.  Check out the BBC You and Yours I reference.  Some things are obviously more expensive but others aren't like avoiding wasting food and repairing things and putting on a jumper.  It's interesting the difference the status of the action and the attitude towards it depending on which thread it is on!
