Chiswick High Road

Nearly drove onto an oncoming bus on the high road the other day because the road markings are terribly confusing! There is going to be a big accident on this road one day unless the street signs and markings are clear and done properly.

Where exactly did your near collision occur?

Today there was a guy measuring up the High Road itself with a pedometer. His high vis vest said nothing more than SURFACING on the back. Presumably a resurface is coming which is sorely needed to cover up the multiple temporary markings that come and go.Also, this Sunday CHR by the bus garage will be reduce to one lane in both directions. At least that's my take on the signage posted. Never exactly as clear as it should be.

Useful site thanks for sharing. Although I note that there are gas works planned in my are until June. The issue being that because so many roads have closed off parts parking is limited and that means that the 2 working recharge points on lampposts in George st are permanently occupied.
