Any update on the vacant units on Turnham Green Terrace?

The old Luminis premises and Pizza Street next door seem no longer to be worked on with no news of what might be opening there. Does anyone know what is being planned?

Looking at the plans submitted on the Hounslow website it looks as it the developers didn't get their ducks in a row before starting. The original plan to merge the two units into either a restaurant or a shop was approved but their later application to install significant machinery on the roof (air conditioning and kitchen extractors) was rightly refused because of the import on the nearby residents. I wonder what conditioning units the pizza / chinese place used ?  Possibly there were not located next to the windows of the flats ......

Thanks all. It's a shame that such a gateway site has remained vacant for so long. The long, thin premises would probably work best with a diner style restaurant/cafe. If they made it dog friendly that would be perfect.
