Woman feeding pigeons on Acton Green W4

Woman feeding pigeons On electronic scooter. She religiously feeds the pigeons now in another location which is in the centre of the park along South Parade W4 and now the rooftops are covered in pigeon droppings. The parking warden has said that it is a bylaw offence under this borough but nothing or no one has questioned her officially although several residents in the area have asked her not to do it but she responds negatively.https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/woman-fined-3000-feeding-birds-24823217.ampThere seems to be a lot of similar cases across the UK

She can be fined for littering, using the same laws that allow Kingdom officials to wander about fining smokers at bus stops.

Sorry I meant park warden who told me about the Bylaws but He said he was reluctant to approach her as she can be difficult she routinely/daily scoots up to Poundland buys up loads of seeds not just a bag it’s a sack of seeds every day she’s very quick so It would be very difficult to issue a fine of any sort you’d have to catch her and she is very difficult as I know of at least six residents in the vicinity who have politely approached her and she has responded very badly.

If she is religiously doing daily she nay have dementia. My father developed habitual routine of taking himself to feed ducks daily. He becam agitated if he couldnt go.

Similar to feeding birds in the garden most of us do it, she is not giving them bread can they fine her for giving them seed.

She's not old old, sharp as a button very physical on her electronic scooter with helmet! She goes at break neck speeds on the roads i'd say it was a obsession for her to be so dogmatic and defensive about it.

Possibly it all boils down to local Borough bylaws & neighbourhood nuisance act, should it be causing damage or harm to properties /environment as pigeon/bird droppings can spread diseases associated with pigeon droppings include Cryptococcosis, Histoplasmosis and Psittacosis. You can become infected with these diseases by breathing in the dust that is created when cleaning droppings & theres a lot of it on the roof tops now.

Also most people feed birds with a scattering of seed, she's using sacks everyday, whistles up at them letting the neighbourhood know there's nothing we can do,as no one be grudges bird feeding but a lot of people do dump food in the park for the birds (including bread, I've seen raw meat dumped before by the telephone boxes) not just her she just adds large volume. The droppings are becoming a nuisance there are hundreds of pigeons here now. It's almost comical as people are having to physically duck due to great swathes of pigeons.

If there are notices warning not to feed birds/wildlife they could then possibly warn her or fine her.

There are notices she ignores them, I tell you she's quick on that E scooter!You can't catch her & the council just take your money & sit doing nothing, we've never had a pigeon dropping problem here before as far as I recall.

I've seen this around the ponds in the parks too.  There is a great outcry if parents of children are stopped.I don't think anybody objects to sharing some crumbs with the birds but the big problem is these people who bring whole carrier bags of bread and seed.  This creates flocks of pigeons roosting in trees or on rooftops and they are also unpleasant when they are disturbed and the whole flock flies across in front of you.  I know that pigeons have nasty diseases but we should also not forget that there is bird flu about.

I’ve been informed by a neighbour that someone is breeding Pigeons on the estate by the 94 bus stop perhaps she’s employed by them? As her frequent daily sack of feed is on the dot- If so perhaps we can send the roof tops poop cleaning invoices to them. I don’t mind feedings but this is industrial 🏭 feeding & it’s becoming Hitchcock-like.

She’s as free as a bird on her electronic scooter at great speeds every single day on the main road, can’t catch speedy/birdy gonzalez! I’m very surprised she hasn’t received a penalty on her e scooter.

I have over-ridden the in-built safety software on my invalid scooter to increase it's speed from 12.5 mph to 65. With the price of petrol being what it is it's a real money-saver, but it gets a bit hairy when I'm tailgated by bastards in their BMWs in the fast lane of the M25.

I spoke to a neighbour today said they had to take off all the flowers off her balcony and put spikes up as they were nesting behind her pots. It’s quite a lot of pigeons. Good news tho I saw the community council litter penalty men waiting for her. Though I think she’s cottoned on & moved to in the council estate by the bus stop 🚏 on Acton Green .

She's bonkers obviously. I'm an animal activist but would never feed pigeons.  They overbreed and become a nuisance,  hence they're then persecuted.  She's not doing them any favours.

Women on electronic scooter 🛴 feeding pigeons  with two great big ‘bag for life’ bags full of birdseed so I’ve just been told by a local she’s now feeding them at the back of Marks & Spencer’s by the tennis courts as she’s cottoned on the neighbourhood are being effected by the pigeon nuisance around Acton Green.

She’s back on Acton Green she was feeding them on the green bit where it’s hidden by the Dr’s surgery but cordoned off for Christmas tree business now back outside the Duke of Sussex pub.
