Hosting Ukranian Refugees
I have some friends who want to host a family from Ukraine. I have managed to link them up though contacts with a family there who is registering to come. During the course of my enquiries I know of several others who want come. So if people are willing to host please get in touch I m not familiar with the process (is anybody yet?). My basic understanding I that if you wish to host you register and then it is up to you to find someone on the list. At the other end people must register for a Visa an they need the name of a host who will be taking them in. That is probably too simplistic. I am not an expert merely offering to put people in touch as I have a few ties. We have two Ukrainian builders working for us who are concerned for their familiesI also have contacts in Poland who are working at a university where there is a registration point for refugees so I may be able to put people in touch. I should perhaps add that I merely want to put people in touch and I accept no responsibility for anything down the road.
