BARENS BRIDGE CLOSED

Hi you cant get the train from the Chiswick side of Barnes bridge as the bridge is close until this afternoon so you will need to get to Barnes via Hammersmith Bridge or by car , just rying to save you a journey so you can go to Chiswick over ground

I guess another option would be to get to Mortlake to get the train if that line from Richmond is working well.

Hi Richard I think someone jumped off the bridge of fell in the water in the early hours but not sure 100%

Sorry, is it closed to pedestrians or for trains too? Network rail app doesn't show any delays.

The explanation for what occurred is on the front page. As far as I'm aware the bridge is only closed to pedestrians and the trains are still running.

yes trains still running but you cannot cross the bridge from Chiswick so no way to get onto the train from Dukes meadows, as there was a police woman stoping anyone going over but I am guessing its open now. I hope the man is ok that collapsed
