Front Garden Redesign/Looking for Recommendations

I’m looking to for someone to redesign/redo my front garden. It’s a small space, regular Edwardian terraced house front garden, but would like to fully redo, removing all existing bamboo, rose bush, gravel etc and create a neat/clean new front garden with a practical storage solution to neatly hide the wheelie bins, gas meters, perhaps have a fixture to which bikes can be locked. Perhaps with a permeable paving path for some of it to make moving the heavy wheelie bins more manageable, and either planted or potted trees and lighting. If there is anyone here who could help with this, maybe with some existing plans/examples from other similar projects, or if anyone has had their front garden done and has local recommendations, would love to hear from you.And if you’re a garden company, please feel free to recommend yourself!Thanks in advance!

Whatever design you choose, please make sure that rainwater can be absorbed within the garden and doesn’t just run off into the drains.  I went to a talk on hedgehogs in West London on Wednesday and one of the worries was that astroturf was replacing grass which is hugely detrimental to local wildlife and to the absorption of rainwater.

Thanks Susan. Agree, and it’s the very reason I stated permeable paving (and only part paving) in order to be mindful of the environment. There will be an increase in greenery in my garden once it’s completed :) I just need to find someone to help me do it.

Hi Jayne, I’d love nothing more than a front garden that could accommodate a car, because that would mean I have a much bigger front garden than I do :) That’s a great idea to contact Wheelers, thanks. I love them as a garden centre but it hadn’t occurred to me that they could help with this. I will get in contact!
