Advice please - where to take grandchildren for supper in Chiswick

So when daughter says "post haircut in TGT next Monday, why don't we have early supper nearby?" I thought of Bill's and Giraffe.But that just shows how out of date I am. Neither still exist...Where do we go with 3yo and 14m, which they will enjoy and so might we?

Probably a sign of changing demographics that Chiswick has far fewer genuinely child friendly restaurants than it used to. Zizzis and Pizza Express might be the safe options.

There MUST be life beyond pizza (my least favourite food, in spite of Stanley Tucci) The kids have it almost every week in Acton Putt in the Park too...Extraordinary that things have changed so much.

I find the acoustics in Cote difficult. On both occasions I've been there it has been difficult to hear my dining partner. Depends how much you like noise, I suppose.

Suggest you check out 'Outsider Tart'. A jolly, colourful place... with a current interest in helping refugees and more...like your goodself.

Rice is a great place, but it is a bit down the high road from TGT. On top of the food being excellent, the owners love children.

Megan’s at the flower market (n the high road just before M& S/Waterstones) if approaching from Turnham Green terrace might be a good option.

Would not recommend zizziz went there on Saturday service was very poor and very slow will not be going back
