Shane Warne RIP

Much too young to go at 52, and so soon after Rod Marsh as well. While not enjoying the damage those two wreaked on the England team over the years, they have left behind some great sporting memories.

Yes..very sad. I recall rubbing shoulders with Shane at a Hotel breakfast bar in Sydney some years back. A formitable person indeed.I was also sadden to learn of John Landy's passing recently.He was in the headlines in the 1950s when the 4 minute mile was a key topic. He was Australian too.Gradually, I suppose, we'll all go!

Shane Warne made a cricket ball talk.He was just the greatest, and a bloody tragedy to die so young.Only this morning I read his personal tribute to old "Iron Gloves", Rod Marsh, his mentor at the Adelaide cricket academy.
