Ibis cars

I have just called Ibis cars to book a cab for this afternoon to go to Paddington Station and they said they are not taking advance bookings. Does anyone have any recommendations for a firm that will take advance bookings today please?

Embassy cars. Think they are more expensive than some, but their cars are significantly better too.

I have used Courtesy Cars - 020 8994 4444 - for many years for crack of dawn trips to the airport/ train stations and they were very reliable. Some companies may not want to go into London with the tube strike though.

Uber is very straightforward if you wish to book in advance.

I imagine that Ibis weren't taking advance bookings because with the tube strike they wouldn't be able to guarantee that there would be a driver free at the time you needed, because of the increased demand for minicabs and the unpredictable journey times.

Andrew you are 100% correct rather than let people down IBIS are such a good local taxi company who have kept working through the pandemic which has been extremely difficult for them.

Have just used them, courteous, prompt service.  Booked this morning for a journey early pm today.

I’ve found Uber increasingly unreliable recently even with advance booking. The last few times I used them their driver was so far away and going to be late so I cycled instead.
