Walk and Talk event on International Women's Day 8th March is NONSENSE - MALE behaviour problem!
Commander Rachel Williams of Metropolitan Police is aiming at the wrong target. It is of course the huge barrel of "rotten apples" in the Met which she should be tackling - on International Women's Day, yes but on all other days of the year too. Taunting and "banter" start in bored minds. And the Met must challenge their institutional view that female officers are either "dykes or bikes" (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/02/03/either-bike-dyke-police-colleagues-would-tell-women/)Time for more police officers - in PAIRS - on the beat in London, please. Surveillance cameras on high streets don't stop assaults and rapes in dark alleys and parks.
