Opticians

Has anyone been asked or tried the OCT scan like the one in boots (£25).Any issues or is it better than the photo one ?

Yes I had one in Boots recently. I’m not sure what you mean by issues it’s just a good way to check your retinas.

The Eye Studio have incorporated new areas of treatment, have a work with Nick or Andy I find them courteous and so helpful.

I had a detached retina a few years ago so I thought it was worth having the OCT scan when it was first offered but I’m not sure if I’ll pay for it at every eye test. So I suppose it depends on whether you have any concerns about your retinas such as macular degeneration etc.

Do OCT operators have to have immaculate sight themselves to qualify to operate the OCT machine? JUst a thought.

As its  "eye sight" go into The Eye Studio speak to Nick and ask his advice, and then you can make a decision.

Thanks Janice I used to be a customer of the eye studio. Only went somewhere else to get the frames I wanted. I may return.
