George IV lights

I've not seen any comments on the lights outside the George IV on Chiswick High Road, although I may have missed some, and I'd like to thank whoever came up with the idea for brightening up the High Road and the people that strung them up.I was concerned that the lights might just be for Christmas so I'm very pleased to see them staying.They bring an up beat feel every time I see them extending over the car park giving a canopy of light.Many thanks....

"I was concerned that the lights might just be for Christmas" Exactly for that purpose but they decided to keep them up which is a good decision. I see Megan's have kept extra lights up and the crown has left some low-level lights out. Speaking of the crown, does anyone go because I knew many people who used to go under past ownership as Carvosso's but know of no person who goes these days, even groups for get-togethers who now just book up a rev at the very good roebuck. Just curious

It's very nice to see them up still. No doubt the council will find some reason that they have to come down though....

Evening all!Just a quick note from me and the team here to say thank you for the kind words on the lights! We think they really bring some light to the front in what can be a dark patch.The council are all in the loop on them and have assured us they can stay up except for when they prune the trees so as long as I'm about The George they'll be up.Thanks!Ben GM @ The George

The lights were a collaboration between the George IV and the Chiswick Flower Market. Thanks to 'fearless' Rory & 'not so fearless' Steve from the CFM team for putting them up!!
