Day trip Paris. Lunch recommendations.

Taking our daughter to Paris on Eurostar for birthday lunch.   Does anyone have any suggestions for nice restaurants. No hideously expensive. Thanks.

La Coupole firstly and a visit to the top floor bar at the Montpannasse Tower.

Le Troumilou is a lovely place. Around the Quai Hotel de Ville. Very French and not that expensive but very good.

Boffinger is the place for a true brasserie experience. La Coupole is good but the food a little disappointing imo. Hebe - newish but great,Go the whole hog and go for the Georges V.

Bofinger is indeed wonderfulLe Petit Zinc is lovely - St German des Pres- great seafood - also Chez Omar on rue de Bretagne - lovely unpretentious North African food

Try Le Grand Colbert (Rue Vivienne) it's belle epoque dining - a traditional Paris brasserie but not too expensive.Or (if it's a really special occasion) maybe try Guy Savoy (Quai de Conti) - it's more intimate and modern but has 2 or 3 Michellin stars and is pricey.  Both do excellent lunch service.

I definitely recommend the cafe at the top of the Montparnasse tower (no queues and you don't have to pay for that view).  Also agree Le Grand Colbert is so very "Paris" and was even used as a location in Call My Agent.  If the weather is good, Brasserie George on top of the Pompidou centre is lovely.

For something very stylish, innovative, delicious, memorable and affordable...  I can totally recommend Le 52 Faubourd St Dennis. It's minimalist but the food is amazing and will fill you up.https://groupe-compagnon.com/pages/le-52-faubourg-saint-denisHowever, this is in untrendy St Denise and they have just opened a new restaurant Cafe Compagnon which is getting rave reviews and is more central.
