Notary for a letter

Hi There,My partner needs to provide a letter to his ex-wife to permit taking their children to Canada on holiday. (requirement of Canadian Govt). We've researched this and it suggests having the document notarised. Can anyone recommend someone locally who could do this please?

I've used Sally Osborne Notary Public at 29 Homefield Road, W4 2LW.  She's easy to deal with.

Sally is good - Notary to the arch bishop of canturbury, all started off when Henry VIII started off.

Helen, I noticed that someone very kindly recommended a local firm of solicitors. Worth checking however that they actually have a notary on staff. Last time I dealt with Lancasters, they were only commissioners for oaths, and that isn't sufficient for the Canadian government. It has to be a Notary Public.Probably best to use Sally.Good luck.

You get a great big red wax stamp from the Archbishop too. That will impress the Canadians.
