Coinstar machine - Sainsburys Chiswick

Hi,Does anyone know if there is still a change counting machine at Sainsbury's Chiswick (main store) ? Many thanks

There is a free to use one in Metro Bank.

I’m fairly sure I saw someone using one of these machines in the Chiswick Sainsbury’s a couple of days ago..

The Sainsburys machine takes a big percentage of the money you get.

My loose change had built up, but when I realised that the Sainsbury's machine charges (10%?), I gave it all to the beggars sitting outside..

NatWest on CHR have a coin counting machine, but I'm pretty sure you need to have an account with them - the machine gives you a receipt which gets you cash, or is credited to your account, as you choose.Maybe other banks too?

Last time I used Sainsburys it charged 8%.Was switched on this am.,

Be aware that if you insert dirty old rusty coins... the Sainsbury's machine will just gobble them up and not refund you anything for them!

Been meaning to try this -been told the best thing is to use the self checkout with a bag of coins. Need to get there early before they fill up!
