Staveley Road regulations

Good morning everybody. Does anyone know whether the new regulations forbidding entry to Staveley Road from the A316 between 8am and 7pm have kicked in yet?

But yesterday the new signs were uncovered showing the new restriction times, so I avoided the road.

As residents who are eligible to apply for exemption I confirm we have received confirmation that the new trial hours come into effect on 24th January. Till then old restrictions apply.  I suspect they may have uncovered to sign to pre condition people to find alternate routes. But as you say very confusing.

"Can you still drive out of Staveley Road at any time?"As of 24/1/22, Yes if you belong to one of the eligible groups or it is not between 8AM and 7PM Monday to Saturday.However, I cannot find anywhere that says that anyone will still be able to exit Hartington Road onto the A316 as we can at the moment.Can anyone please point me at a URL that says that.Or should I contact the traffic department?

Travelling back from Richmond over chiswick bridge just now, it seems the three possible left turns to come back to Chiswick Park are now No Entry. I had to go down to the Hogarth roundabout and left back up to the lights at Sutton Court Rd to turn right. Have they essentially turned the whole of Grove Park into Private roads?

They have turned Grove Park into a quasi-privatised district. I live there and I hate it.  It neither feels right as a matter of principle, nor particularly safe after dark when the streets are deserted. But apparently, all the residents want this and love it... Never mind the irony that this privatisation has been achieved by a Labour council...

I suspect that some minted influential people in Grove park have brought this about, and the poor people living in Alexandra Gardens opposite the school will have to endure even more traffic queuing outside their homes than there is already. That stretch between the school and Hogarth roundabout has always been clogged, it's going to get really silly now. Thanks

Not only have LBH made it difficult for non-permit-holders to get into Grove Park from January 24th, they've also made it virtually impossible to get out. Job done!

If a non-resident parks in said section of Staveley Rd before 8am, are they free to drive out at any end anytime without penalty?

"If a non-resident parks in said section of Staveley Rd before 8am, are they free to drive out at any end anytime without penalty?"Yes.  The prohibition is only on motor vehicles entering the said section of Staveley Road during prohibited hours.
