Does not transfer to humans very often. Well it seems it does in England.

Both the coronaviruses SARS and MERS are believed to have been transmitted from animals to humans. It seems to be a bad year for Avian flu which is thought to be with brought in by migrating birds. Poultry producers have had to keep their birds indoors since November - something which they have to do every time there is an outbreak.I don't think the chap who caught this has been very ill.
