It does make an interesting read but I can't help wondering why one of our leading epidemiologists has left airing his insights so late in the day, why was he not impressing his professional opinion on Prof Witty etc nearly 2 years ago?  Hindsight is a wonderful thing but saving up your insights for a money-making book way after the event leaves a bit of a bad taste .....

He does seem to have changed his mind from a year ago, no bad thing in itself, scientists should not be dogmatic.

Russell, it appears that the only newspaper you read is The Guardian! Spread your wings a bit and read the Daily Mirror, the Sun etc where you can read all about candid celebrity moments, on and indeed off, Love Island. Also there's Celebrity Supermarket Sweep with everyone's favourite TV Personality - Rylan Clark-Neal. What more could you want?
