Hope they catch the thief.Anyone know what was in the nice Christmas package from TfL for Jeremy?It would be nice to know what we had bought him.

Poor Jeremy, always the victim.He was asking on his R2 propaganda show the other day if a person who has not received a covid jab should wear a badge; so maybe a box of 'I've not been vaccinated' badges were had away.

Perhaps it was 100 grams of carefully packaged humility. Good radio hosts don't constantly push their own agenda. His only saving grace is that his brother is mildly amusing.

Isn't it nice to see that there is so much sympathy for a local resident who has been the victim of crime, especially in this festive season.Oh, wait....Anyhow, should Brown or any of Vine's other detractors get caught out this way, I do hope they or someone else will post details on here. I can always do with a laugh now that the Christmas Crackers have all been opened.

A sensible person would have ensured that someone was home to take delivery of the package or not whinge when it is stolen and then waste valuable police time. It’s all just ‘attention seeking’

Steve Taylor explained" A sensible person would have ensured that someone was home to take delivery of the package"Or given that David Vine has spent a large sum of money installing a presumably lockable box, in his front garden, he could have left an open padlock on the hasps with an instruction for the driver to close the padlock (Assuming that such is ever necessary). Unless of course he's already had open locks stolen in the past, and so prefers having packages stolen instead.It would be interesting to know whether any such considerations will impact on any insurance claim he might care to make.  michael adams

Anyone who has had any experience of courier deliveries would be well aware that trying to ensure that "someone was home to take delivery" is not nearly as easy as it sounds. I have been in on a number of occasions when couriers claim to have tried to deliver, on one occasion finding my parcel leaning against the wall of a house about ten doors down. Today I had an Argos delivery for which I received a call this morning telling me to expect it at some point in the next three days; it turned up within a couple of hours of the call. "It’s all just ‘attention seeking’"Something Steve Taylor is an expert at.

Evidently you have no sympathy for Jeremy Vine.Yet as the front page article reports:"Citizens Advice says it has seen a significant increase in the number of requests for help concerning parcel theft and it is calling for an overhaul of the way the delivery market operates."Any sympathy for those other victims to whom CA refers?Or do you feel that their call for the delivery firms to change their modus operandi is unnecessary?
