Stan Bowles spent a lot of time on his knees in Brentford once... he worked at the busy floor tiles shop!

Stanley Bowles once lived in Braemar and folk would come down the road singing 'Stanley Bowles, Stanley Bowles, Stanley Bowles' (you get the idea) to the tune of 'Be Kind to your fine feathered friends'. I'm going back about 35 years here.

While living in Braemar Rd, I think it was a BFC owned property at the time, Stan and his former Miss World wife raised the alarm when the Braemar Rd caught fire.
