Is the Farmers'Market operating this weekend?

We have a special Christmas market on 12th December when some of our resident artists will open their studios and turn pots in the market.We will be closed;26th December and 2nd Januaryback open 12th January

Wrong market ?The one at Grove Park Farmhouse  is called the FOOD MARKET chiswick but known as the farmers market, and not be be confused with the one at Gunnersbury Park which is called the farmers Market. Then you have the cheese market,flower market and antiques market on CHR but not called the farmers market.

Of course, Julian. But do you or anyone know if the High Road cheese market is open tomorrow?  It’s meant to be open every third Sunday of the month.

Ah,okNot sure if the one over next to dukes meadows is which i think is the one Jennifer refers to is open or closed. They have promoted Christmas market on the 12th and closed 26th December and 2nd January but have missed out the 19th as either open or closed which yoiu would have thought would be added to the other 2 dates of closure. So one would think its open on the 19th but had the christmas one on the 12th. Bit confusing Sure someone will update at some pointback open 12th January

Oh dear!  More ‘First World’  anxieties.  What to do, where to go, when to go???  But in the REAL world:“ COVID-19: Mayor of London Sadiq Khan declares major incident over 'huge surge' of Omicron cases. In the last 24 hours, we have had the largest number of new cases since the pandemic began, more than 26,000."Hospital admissions are going up but also staff absences are going up by massive levels, so I have taken the decision, along with our partners, to declare a major incident."

The Food Market is open tomorrow. Meat, veg, fruit juice and dairy direct from the farm and bread, bakes and cakes from producers. Ready to eat stalls for brunch and lunch.

Gunnersbury Park Farmers Market open tomorrow 10am-3pm, then closed for next 2 weeks, reopening on Sunday 9th January.Happy Christmas

From Leader Page today! “The infection rate in the Chiswick area is currently at its highest level since the pandemic began in March 2020.In the week to 13 December 455 people in the W4 postcode area alone reported a positive test. In some neighbourhoods the proportion of people recorded as being infected within the latest seven day period is above one per cent of the population.The virus is most prevalent in the Chiswick South West area which includes Strand on the Green and parts of Grove Park. There the infection rate per 100,000 population is 1,170.5 in the most recent week for which data is available and increase of 90.2% on the previous week.The Chiswick North West area, which covers much of Acton Green also has an infection rate above 1,000 and saw cases increase by 70.7%.”
