A new cycle park in Chiswick

Not content with a cycle super highway, the pavement on The Avenue, outside St Michael and All Angels Church has now become a parking bay for Lime hire bikes, totally blocking it to pedestrians. Really not good for the elderly, disabled and parents with pushchairs, who have to go into the road to get past (I took a photo to illustrate it, but don't seem to be able to post it here). #KeepBikesOffThePavement!!!

Here is the picture. I would assume the bikes have been placed there by mistake by a contractor who misinterpreted their instructions. They should be on the pavement that links to the end of Woodstock Road. Is this Hounslow or Ealing borough?

This happened last week but they were put on the wider path opposite the vets taking up half the space. Next day they were moved to the correct place which is the walkway on the corner of the church and woodstock road. Clearly we have a new person in a van putting them in the incorrect place

I tweeted lime bikes this morning with the photo I took. They apologised and say they will have them moved immediately. I’ve asked them to confirm when they’ve done this. I’ve found that direct contact of companies via Twitter gets an immediate response (usually)
