Drains Cleared - Recommendation
Hello, If you are looking for help with a blocked drain at some point - I just had a blocked drain cleared by Don Davison of Clear Run Drain who I found via Checkatrade https://www.checkatrade.com/trades/clearrundrains. Don and his son were very helpful and kept carefully to the agreed hour. And they also did a red dye test which proves that we do in fact share the drain with our neighbours, this means that it is apparently Thames Water's responsibility to keep this clear, something they denied when they arrived yesterday after 72 hours. At least we are ready for the next time should this unfortunate event reoccur.It's annoying but not unexpected that the drain mapping app that Thames Water's operatives use omitted this important information, I think the record for these Victorian houses is all a bit vague but at least we know now.Good luck.
