Antony Sher RIP
A fine classical actor, although I always remember him for his turn as university lecturer Howard Kirk in "The History Man" on TV in 1981. By then I'd seen him on stage in "Teeth'n'Smiles" with Helen Mirren and Martin Shaw, and he went on to play most of the great Shakespearean roles. Too young to be taken at the age of 72.
