Wolfe Vets

I'm currently with Medivet in Acton Lane, but am thinking of changing to Wolfe, which is just around the corner from me. I like the fact that they're independent. But I'd like to know if anyone has experience of them. Many thanks.

Dave left medivet ages agoAll change up there, we left as price going up every month and if u had an insurance claim they ask to £25 to fill in the form .

I prefer Carmichaels in W11 If you can get there then it's worth it the journey it really is. The staff are just brilliant, all of them. Competitive prices too.

Not sure if this is the right thread but I heard that Creature Comforts vets in Chiswick are offering free memberships to Wolfe customers if they want to switch over.

Yes. Excellent facilities - separate for cats and dogs, human-grade equipment and lots of ability to test in-house, 3 operating theatres including one dedicated to dentals. Special air filtering scheme to ensure bio-security. Very good OOH services too.

More expensive than Richmond Vets but if you take a cab there and back as I do and usual wait is at least 20 mins which racks up the costs maybe not a huge difference.  I was annoyed that James didn't wear a mask in a small consulting room.  I did.

Took my new kittens for a once over at Wolfe's.  Nice staff but next time I will ask to see a vet who wears a mask.

I use Medivet Richmond and have done for 8 years and service then as now is excellent.

We take our cat to Medivet Acton Lane (though not had to recently).But I believe that Dave, who was the senior vet at Medivet, left the practice in the summer.We always found him very good - in fairness all the staff are - but does anyone know whether there has been any drop-off in service since he left?

Thanks Caroline. I've booked my cat in for his annual check up and vaccination booster. Consultation free and £55 for booster. Cheaper than Medivet.

We have used Wolfe since they opened! Very very happy with their provision! Highly recommend James and his team.
