Car Permit Query
Does anyone know if the fee charged by Hounslow Council for a temporary parking permit whilst one is waiting for documents to be returned from the DVLA is offset against the fee for an annual permit? Given DVLA are quoting up to six weeks turnaround two temporary permits may be required and at a cost of £38.39 each it works out to almost the full amount for an annual pass or if only one is needed that is still almost half the cost of an annual pass. There must be a simpler method for proving ownership surely ?
