Express Stop Food and Wine, 116 Chiswick High Rd

Is anyone else having problems collecting parcels from this shop?  I have received email confirmation from Hermes that it was ready for collection on Thursday.  Went to the shop on Friday to be told they cannot give it to me as the system they use to scan the parcels wasn't working and to go back Saturday.  Saturday told still not working.  Went back today and still not working!  This time there was an attempt to look for the parcel and even though I explained it would be quite large the person behind the till only looked at the small packages and then said I would have to come back another day!!!  Will get in touch with the company I ordered from tomorrow but just wondering if this is standard practice for this shop?

I haven't had any issues with the shop in question and have used it many times. If they have a problem with the technology - presumably out of their hands - I'm not sure what you expect them to do. I suspect they'll need said tool in order to hand the package over.

I was wondering if anyone had also had problems collecting over the last 3 days.  And totally agree about the technology, not sure if it's just there hand held scanner or a wider problem.Having said that to be told to come back "another time" when I've already done that 3 times is a bit frustrating.

I would contact Hermes as it will be their IT.I have sent a lot of packages from this shop without a problem.
