And there are people looking out for rare tapes.  I don't know which TV programme are still missing.  Definitely difficult to find people who are still using these.  Some of our LPs though are worth quite a lot now as they have made a come back.  We took them all to the Oxfam shop years ago!

No charity shop will now accept video tapes (hours on the phone will attest to that). Check if anything you are getting rid of has any value on EBay, Else it's landfill as they cannot be recycled and no local authority site I have found will accept them.

I think that YouTube is a extra wonder of the world. Those cherished VHS recordings we made in years gone by..are now readily available on YT.The Elton John film of his Moscow tour,Peter Donohoe's victory in the Moscow Piano Competition ..it's all there after a few clicks.Yes...declutter!

I had a look on Ebay and Preloved and the prices for Disney videos can't be real can they?  Doctor Who and Star Trek and some others that collectors are looking for.

The ones to look at are sold items, these are the real prices rather than what the sellers think they are worth. Most VHStapes unless rare fetch only pennies.
