Parking permit query help

I have swopped my car to avoid Mayor’s ULEZ.   I am in the CC zone.   My old car is going to a good friend in distant Sussex.   But only going next week, 7 days after the newer car arrives.    Can anyone tell me whether i should use Change of Vehicle permit, or just pay a one month temporary charge of £38?The Hounslow website tells me I cannot use the Temp. £38 permit until it arrives… [by post] and yet the Hounslow Permit site also shows it will expire exactly 30 days after tomorrow!   I do not want a daily PCN here in Dale Street!   Any Taranto Hounslow help is appreciated.   Confused.

PeterI don't know but would Visitors Permits be less expensive  ? Just a suggestion

Message:There are places you can park your new car along the A4 which are free to park and there are also some free parking spots around Burlington Lane, near Chiswick House and Gardens. Once you get your change of vehicle permit swap the cars round until your old car goes to its new home.

Hounslow Council posted approval permit within 24 hours.    Credit where credit is due….!
