Passenger drop off and pick up in streets near to St James Park

Taking a passenger in my car who has a meeting at St James Park.  I need to find a street nearby where I can drop them off and pick them up later in the day without parking.  Trying to avoid the congestion charge too …. Any suggestions?

The congestion charge doesn’t start until east of Park Lane. I go to Belgrave Square where there is plenty of parking but, nearer the park, Halkin Street and Chapel Street run between the Square and Grosvenor Place. They seem relatively quiet streets and worth a try.
