Does anybody know if there are any plans for the centre to get back to normal?

It is closing down in the near future. We have to use Park Royal or Greenford tips.

When I want there recently all the parking bays were available and they didn't seem interested in checking my booking details.

The Greenford Road tip is still without its weighbridge so the poor old council must be losing our money while residents can dispose of previously charged for waste without being charged. I think this situation has been ongoing for weeks now and shows their lack of maintenance up.

Greenford is miles away and Park Royal not much better. The restrictions and closure of our much used recycling centres is leading to a great deal of fly tipping in residential streets and Dukes Meadow. The situation can only get worse if there are no convenient legitimate sites.

There is fly-tipping - probably particularly of business waste - whether or not there are recycling centres. With so much online shopping and people buying on credit there is still a lot of packaging needing to be disposed of and if you don't separate it it becomes an even bigger problem. There has been a shortage of cardboard.

Townmead Road Kew is partially open following the fire, but you have to book. Check the their website for details.

Are Ealing borough residents allowed to use the Townmead Road site?

I looked at the websites some months back and the Ealing one wasn't as easy to use as I think Richmond's. You should be able to cancel as well as to book.There is also a wait if you are trying to get the Council to dispose of your waste. Perhaps all the websites should be more explicit. They could definitely be more helpful of the other ways to legally dispose of what you do not want. The crusher should be the last resort.

Yes, but you need to read the instructions for the Townmead site as they are not fully open and are not taking everything.
