Having seen a 1/8th sovereign you'll be totally underwhelmed by the size.Sovereigns retail at about £320 each. This one's an eight of that. You do the math!

Thank you Jeffrey. I think I'll carry on collecting farthings... probably the same size too.

Oh wow. Thanks for this. I've bought up all the D Day and Battle of Briton commemorative plates from the back of the Daily Mail. This is just what I need.

Jim, I think the old farthing weighed about 1/7 of an ounce. This 1/8th sovereign weighs about 1/30th of an ounce!

Seems to be sold out, Jim. I don't actively collect coins, although I do have, I think, every £2 coin that has been minted. Personally speaking, I would only ever buy coins from the Royal Mint.

Noted Jeffrey. A one gram coin...30 to an ounce..must be the size of my shirt button here! How can postage and packing cost £5 for something so light and small? Maybe a courier delivery I suppose. Thanks Brian for telling us the issue has been sold out. They'll probably be on Ebay in time.Farthings are special though...especially Queen Victorian ones. Once 960 to a Pound!

Yes Jim, just about everything ends up on eBay sooner or later!
