London doesn't have that.When I tried to introduce a similar concept for CS9 linking Kings Street and CHR with an "Emerald Neckless" integrating all manner of transit with new and improved green space and pedestrian amenity, I was roundly criticized by the cycle lobby as being anti______.Unfortunately, no temporary nor permanent cycle way includes creating let alone improving green space for the community. Nor does it improve the pedestrian experience in a manner shown by your example. Look closely at the video in Philippa's link. You'll note vehicles on the move as well as loads of plantings, benches and amenities. What you don't see is a cycle lane that is the sole focus which is what we have. It is a part of the solution. It is not THE solution.
