Have you got a Weimeraner?

The Pet Blood Bank UK are seeking healthy, even-tempered Weimeraners between the ages of 1 and 9 for their donation service. Dogs can make up to 6 donations a year and you can choose the most convenient centre. Your dog will have the benefit of regular health checks and you can have the satisfaction of knowing that each donation can save the lives of 4 dogs.This is a vital service that is available to every vet in the county and is entirely funded by charitable donations. Thanks for this Charlotte. I have a healthy, but completely batshit Weimaraner. I'll look into this, hopefully idiocy is not a transfusable condition.

I’ll happily share this aroundOur dog was the lucky recipient of blood transfusions at 6 months of age, when he had parvo (yes, was vaccinated etc. Now a happy, energetic and totally loopy 18 month old dog). Dogs donating saved his life, so Thank You to those with donor doggies. (In our case, “parvo surviving dogs” donated, so if our dog now qualifies, we’ll be sure to do the same)
