How depressing that so many moralisers are preoccupied with Coladangelo and Hancock's private infidelities, as if they any of their/our business, while they appear rather less interested in the other, much more egregious aspects of their behaviour, which greatly devalue public life in this country.I am referring to the "Do as I say, not do as I do" arrogance of Hancock, whereby he totally discredits the campaign to combat this terrible pandemic (masks, social distancing etc), such that people inevitably conclude that "If he doesn't have to comply, then why should I?"Then there is the fact and manner of someone in high public office blithely appointing an old crony to a very important position, without process, scrutiny or accountability. Both these annoy me greatly. But whether they're sleeping together? I leave that one to gossips with little better to do than pry in other peoples private lives.
