Shed Removal.. recommendations please

Hello, I am having trouble finding someone to dismantle my garden shed and prepare the ground for a new shed (and ideally assemble that too - if ever arrives..)  Appreciate any recommendations for workmen/handymen to do the job!  Thank you

The company we ordered our shed from recently was prepared to set it up and assemble it - for a fee - as long as the ground was fairly level. I had to take a crowbar to the old shed to dismantle it, which was fairly easy, the state it was in - and take it to Greenford dump and pay to dispose of it.

Thanks Peter. I bought the shed and requested assembly at the same time, apparently they have stopped that service, agh, hence last minute flail to find someone. Yes might need a crowbar...

We used a gardener to make a base and assemble a timber shed. It was some time ago and was listed under horticultural services somewhere. Not very helpful I suppose but it may give you another route to explore.

We used Kiwi Landscapes https://www.kiwilandscapes.com and they did a very good job, constructing a concrete base and placing the new shed on it.  This was several years ago.

Thanks all.. will investigate gardener route etc. Shed contents are all over my house, shed is empty, but no one to dismantle and take it away. But new one not arrived yet, so who knows, this could be a long and boring story to get 2 feet more of shed space (why did I do it..)

If it is in good condition and can be reassembled maybe try Gumtree. They have a free section and you could advertise it for free subject to the 'buyer' disassembling and taking it away.Worth a shot as sheds are expensive.

I second that idea a lot of people with allotments would love an old shed and would be willing to take it down which I don't think is that difficult.  That's how we got our little allotment shed.  I have some straps if anyone wants to borrow them for putting on the top of a car.

A tip. When you assemble a shed use greased brass screws instead of nails so when you want to move it the job is a lot easier.

Thank you all for your helpful suggestions. The shed has been dismantled and removed by my window cleaner! (I didn't realise Svet was also a handyman - bonus!) The shed was more rotten than I realised so no good for allotment folk, but that is a great idea for others to see on the forum in case they are ever in a similar predicament. Now I just have to hope the website shed company I bought a new one from actually deliver it.. (why did I get lured in by impossibly large discounts.. and not read the really bad online reviews about the company before I handed over my money) In the meantime I just have to live with shed contents in my house.
