Single yellow lines in a controlled parking zone (CPZ) which are not accompanied by a seperate time plate are also unrestricted.It's worth remembering that Chiswick High Road isn't in a CPZ, it's in a Pay and Display zone. In years gone by, I've seen lots of cars parked on single yellow lines on CHR, and later on in the morning, lots of PCNs being issued to these cars.Maybe it's different these days, Richard might know.Also, different boroughs operate in different ways e.g. in Westminster you can park on a single yellow line on a bank holiday, but you still can't park in a residents only bay between 0830 and 2030.
