Road Closure 26th May

The fickle finger of fate plans to strike Alexandra Gdns, Staveley Gdns and Dukes Meadows for the 2nd time this year.Road signs are up stating that the short section of Riverside Drive between the A316 junction and the turn into Staveley Gdns will be closed for one day. This is the second time this year. The first time, John Todd raised the associated problems with LBH and it was quickly sorted as there would be no vehicular access/egress to either of the three locations, that time it was for two days. This time, the signs say to use the diversion. Obviously yet again someone hasn't done their homework. Does anyone know where the diversion is?

Time to remove the obstructions under the railway arch then we have an escape route.

I wonder how the Hounslow waste trucks are going to get into the estates tomorrow.

The road closed signs were removed and replaced with a general sort of road works sign.Funnily enough, I just said the same about the waste trucks to my wife.I'll have to pause on my way to my allotment tomorrow to see how its being managed.BTW Bernard TW have started the water meter works today, currently in the first private turning.
