Anne is correct. If you had your first Astra Zeneca jab at least 8 weeks ago, go to the Fountain Leisure centre on Mon-Thursday as a "walk-in" and they'll give you your second jab without an appointment. They won't accept you as a walk-in if your first jab was less than 8 weeks ago.Only Mon-Thurs (and not Bank Holiday Monday). Opens at 0800. Although they close at 1920, they stop doing "walk-ins" at 1800 so that they can keep a close eye on the number of vaccines beind dispensed / available for appointments. As I've posted before, there is a maximum daily capacity for walk-ins, so if you get there after that limit you'll be unlucky, but the capacity is over 100 and on the days that I've been volunteering there they have only had about 10 or so - so in practice, the limit is never reached. If your first jab was Pfizer, then they won't accept you as a walk-in - you'll need to go via your GP.As Anne says, best to bring your little vaccination card from your first jab - this will make the admin easier and speed everything up, but if you haven't got it, don't worry - they'll find you on the system via your NHS number if you have it with you or your name and address - it'll just take a little longer. You can still do this even if you have a later appointment somewhere - the system will automatically cancel that appointment for you once you get your second jab
