If the TC aerial is in the attic, I think that it is highly unlikely that strong winds have knocked aerial out of place.  If it has been displaced, then it is more likely to be an animal of some sort which has got in there.Claire has offered advice on the question you ask about a  room aerial, but that may not solve the problem if, as you say, the TV has stopped working.  What precisely does that mean?Is it completely dead (not even the red glow of a standby light)?  If so then check whether something else plugged into that socket works.  If not, then the fault is likely to be the circuit breaker / fuse for that circuit.  If that something else does work, then check the fuse in the plug of the TV.  If neither of those is the case, then it's likely the TV is dead (whether resurrectable is another matter). If you do have a red standby light but nothing is happening when you use the remote control, check the batteries in the remote control. If the remote's batteries are fine / things do happen when you use the remote control, are you getting  a message "No signal" on all channels?  If so, then the problem is almost certainly with the aerial / cable between aerial and TV, but it is worth retuning the TV completely (there will be an auto retune function) just in case.  If you are getting a "No signal" on some channels but receiving other channels fine, then it is possible that some channels have moved and you need to retune to pick them up.  If you are receiving some channels fine but others are being received, then it is likely that the aerial has been knocked out of alignment - but again, try retuning - if the problem persists, then misaligment is the problem.
