Two days running on my way to Hammersmith Hospital.Monday Morning I counted and recorded 9 cyclist just riding through red lights.Tuesday morning I counted 3 cyclist running through zebra crossings with pedestrians crossing, 2 ridding at speed along the pavement and 3 ridding through red lights.All caught on dash cam, now there’s a problem, you can not identify them.I could put them on a utube channel and hope someone can identify them but I doubt the videos would hold water in a court.I am in the process in writing to the mayor of London, asking him if he really wants equality with all forms of transport, then there has to be a level playing field, IE. Identification of every wheeled vehicle that uses any part of the transport infrastructure.If a cat 3 mobility scooter has to be registered with the DVLA and is supplied with index numbers which should be fix to the scooter instead of being left off as they are now, these have a top speed of 8 MPH, you can buy a perfectly good quality number plate that’s only 6 inch’s in length with legal numbering, for fixing to any mode of transport that isn’t identifiable at the moment.The government, DVLA, TFL, LCC and HCC are making it all one sided well getting on your bike has to be a good thing but play by the new laws of the road. Which will have to alter in the next year or so.
