Walk-in vaccinations Tuesday 13th Fountains Leisure Centre

If you are over 40 and have not yet had your jab, then you can turn up today (Tuesday 13th) at Fountains Leisure Centre  and get a jab without an appointment (the reason is that they are very quiet). Today only - tomorrow (Wednesday) they have 450 appointments

Many thanks Andrzej,I was able to inform a lady who's been very worried during lockdown and who hadn't been able to book a vaccination slot due to her age.I told her about your message at 1600 today and she went straight there and received her 1st dose. All done and finished in minutes.Thank you for letting everyone know.

Thanks Andrzej. I headed over when I saw your message. In and out in no time.

I'm in the waiting area now. They said they aren't accepting any more walk-ins this eve. Take yr NHS no. w you if going to a walk-in - I was asked. They've let me in w.out it but prob. better to have it.

Something weird around Brentford Fountain as a walk in for vaccinations as LBH have emailed a recall notice on an earlier post saying it was a walk in.The recall email was sent at 1739.They seem to be hinting that the first was a scam.Maybe they have an excess of vaccinations and are using them up. I know of a few people who have received a jab like this just by asking.

Anne's post is correct - we had so many walk-ins that we're no longer taking any - sorry

Thank you Andrzej for your reply to me concerning the Janssen Ensemble 2 trial.I have stayed on it and may be unblinded soon although the situation is fluid at the moment.

The situation here was that it was dead quiet - quite literally no clients at all at times. So they decided to allow walk-ins. The message spread like a virus, so we went to the opposite extreme of being chock full so they ceased the walk-ins (I assume to ensure that there were sufficient doses to cover the remaining appointments - but that is only my assumption, not a fact)

does anyone know where and if Moderna is being given in London?  I read over 20 sites across England, I guess won't be easy to find

'They seem to be hinting that the first was a scam.'I had the same two emails, Bob, and had no sense of that. They gave the wrong info in the first email; that's all.

This is fake news
