No Easter Eggs

The day before Easter Sunday and you cannot purchase a eater egg.The Co-Op, local shops, Sainsbury’s, Tesco's, and so on sold out yesterday.Talking to one of the staff in Sainsbury’s, he said no sooner he had stack the shelves and turned his back they were gone, so someone is making some money.Which gave me an idea, put our two out the front of the house for fifty quid each, someone is daft enough to pay that for them.

My “secret” reliable egg location is the Tesco / Esso on Uxbridge Road by Ealing Common. Always had “proper” eggs the day before - the ones with mugs and with Smarties, Crunchies etc.

Sainsburys last night just gone 7pm they were stocking the shelevs full with eggs,this afternoon all goneMind you,they no longer do the £1 or £1.99 ones but mostly all £4 each and only about 3-4 various onesGrabbed a few last night. Expect them to do the same shelf filler possibly tonight if they are open tomorrow

I would assume someone shielding and not leaving the house would have shopping delivered? I don’t know?

Who wants to live their life six months in advance? Easter starting at Christmas and Christmas starting in October detracts from the event itself. That's how I feel about it anyway.

I buy Christmas cards in January...in the sale, and Christmas presents all year as I see them.
