I liked the German one where Volkswagen announced they were going to rename themselves "Voltswagen", to reflect their commitment to electric cars.Unfortunately, some Dummkopf at the company announced it on Monday (29th), i.e. three days early:https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/volkswagen-goes-into-reverse-as-april-fool-about-name-change-to-voltswagen-backfires-f78tmhjfvStick to making cars guys, and leave the rest of us to make the jokes.

Have to admit to being taken in on the first read and on a point of writing an angry email to the council until my worse half pointed out he didn't believe there was such a thing as 'found architecture'.On second reading it dawned on me that Hoosa Frayed of BB Wolfe was a strange name for a structural engineer. Still finding jokes I missed on third run through.

It is brilliant because it is so very topical and must have taken some work.  On Wednesday we were watching the last planning meeting on Perceval House which is car free with parking just for cycles and Blue Badge drivers. The Stirling Road towers don't even seem to have Blue Badge parking.  We were surprised at the Architect as we thought it might have been Avril de Poisson.

I rather liked the one in the Telegraph about Barnard Castle hoping to attract more visitors by erecting a life size bronze statue of Dominic Cummings.And it’s not often that the Telegraph makes me smile.
