Sutton Court Road

Does anyone know if SCR is clear of works today? I believe it was closed yesterday. Many thanks

Yesterday the closure of SCR north meant that A4 westbound traffic attempting to turn right for Chiswick  and finding it couldn’t, was having to reintegrate  with the A4 fast lane and crab across three lanes of traffic to get to the slip road for the Chiswick roundabout (or, in one case I saw,  try to turn left on to SCR south).This closure is really inconvenient for those of us who live in GP, and dangerous for drivers on the A4 westbound

Just driven along SCR. It is still closed northbound (1130 Wednesday)

Thames Water again. Works scheduled to last until close of play on March 8th. Along with the Acton Lane junction at Chiswick Park Station this spot is a near-permanent blight on Chiswick. They patch it up then move only to return weeks or even days later in a seemingly  never-ending cycle. Very depressing.
