Parking ticket send to old address.

I moved on 18th December 2020, notified DVLA and received my new driving licence dated 21st December 2020 with my new address printed on it.  Today I received a parking ticket dated 24th February 2020 for a contravention on 15th February which the parking company had sent to my last house had been redirected to this one by the Post Office.  The parking ticket was OK, my fault, but the ticket gave me 14 days in which to pay and the 14 days ended today.  The parking company sent it to my old address despite the DVLA having my new address. I don't want to appeal I just wondered if it's valid?

Viv - it’s your V5C (logbook) that has to be up to date, not your licence I believe?

Well the DVLA seem to have had a lot of problems recently:https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jan/23/minister-faces-fury-over-mass-covid-outbreak-at-top-government-agencyI notice that you can change your address online on their website which leads you from the address change on your driving licence to your V5C and then the address for your Direct Debit for paying for your car tax.  It looks good. Their online car tax payment is nice and easy and gives you a receipt so you know you've paid and your payment has been accepted and not lost in the ether unlike some other organisations.  HMRC still causes a lot of stress.  Don't you just love the way they told everybody that they could delay putting in their tax forms but didn't tell them that they would be accruing interest on their payments.

My V5C is in store with the rest of my stuff and I can't get to it.  The DVLA answering message says 'We're busy, bog off' or something similar as they disconnect the call.
