Is this really true ?
That once every 19 years, February sees no new moon (surprise face emoji). Actually yes, it is true , if you are a person with a big interest in new moon data and observation then, well, once every 19 years you get the month off, not furlough though , just a break. And is this happening (or not happening in this case) this year ? Sadly not, the last time it happened was Feb 2014 and the next time obviously will be plus 19 years which I'm leaving you to work out. It's a slow day for me (face palm emoji) but seeing as the weather lady announced yesterday it has just been the coldest Jan for 10 years in the UK, well I thought I would look ahead to Feb and as we don't yet have the weather data for the whole of Feb I have had to look further afield.
