Covid-19 jab today in Ealing

I had this morning Txt on Thursday to make appointments either Ealing or Southall Confirm Ealing at 8.40 amArrived at8.30  very very well organised Checked my txt Then went into a waiting room5 mins waiting Called my name checked and given a card with my name Date What type of injection I was getting Then on to a boothAsk a few questions by the nurse Injection Given a sticker with the time to leaveThen a volunteer showed me the waiting roomIt’s very well organised And I must quite a lot volunteers to help out and tell and show u what todo Excellent Well Done Ealing

Yes, I’d confirm everything Jon said.  In fact my wife and I arrived about forty minutes before the time of her appointment (mine was booked for later) but they sorted us immediately and we were out of the building before the time of her appointment.

I'm on the Clinically Vulnerable list, Maggie, so age isn't taken into account. If you think you should have been called and haven't yet, give it a few days. They're now vaccinating almost 500,000 people a day. Keep your mobile switched on.

I am also clinically vulnerable and the practice nurse, Liz, from the Glebe St Surgery came to me on Friday to do AstraZeneca jab. Also to see if I have any other health concerns. A lovely lady who I have known for many years.They will send me a second appointment when the Vaccine delivery date is confirmed which maybe in 3-12 weeks.No sore arm or headache.

This is one one bit of good news I look out for every day. While we've been pretty rubbish at most other covid-related stuff, we do seem to have mastered 'jabs going in arms'. Long may it continue.
